Bud Light Will Sponsor 20-City Tour To Kickoff on September 28th At The Pageant In St. Louis
Local Comedian Search To Find The Opening Act For Tour In Each City

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 6, 2006--Anybody who reads Maxim knows that it takes a real man to get a real laugh out of a smart audience these days. Maxim magazine and Anheuser-Busch have put together three guys who know how to do the laughter job right for this fall's best comedy tour, the Maxim/Bud Light Real Men of Comedy Tour.

Stopping in 20 cities across the country and featuring a unique local comedian search at each stop, the tour will present highly qualified real men of comedy: Fear Factor's Joe Rogan, Chappelle's Show's Charlie Murphy and Last Comic Standing's John Heffron.

Kicking off on September 28th, 2006 at The Pageant in St. Louis, the Maxim/Bud Light Real Men of Comedy Tour comedians will perform their most memorable material about what it's like to be a man... for men, and for women who want to learn more about men.

* Joe Rogan--Best known for his role as host of NBC's hit show Fear Factor, Rogan has performed his no-holds-barred brand of stand-up comedy at some the biggest comedy clubs across the country. Rogan also co-hosted Comedy Central's The Man Show and played a large role on NBC's sitcom, Newsradio.
* Charlie Murphy--A fan favorite on Comedy Central's Emmy-nominated Chappelle's Show, Murphy has been doing stand-up and working as a successful film/television actor for the past 17 years.
* John Heffron--Winner of NBC's hit reality series "Last Comic Standing," Heffron has become a favorite comic on the touring circuit. Heffron recently released his second comedy CD, "Good Kid, Bad Adult," and is currently developing a sitcom pilot for NBC.

Throughout the duration of the tour, Maxim will also conduct a comedian search at local comedy clubs in each of the 20 participating cities. One "Maxim Man/Woman" per city will win the chance to serve as opening act for the main show, trying out his or her best five minutes of stand-up material before a packed house.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, July 14th when the web site www.maximonline.com/realmenofcomedy goes live with purchase information, including additional dates in San Diego and Miami.
